War Room Concept


Following a number of workshops and group meetings, Mpamba’s expert resources participate in developing a war room concept to be implemented at the SAPS in 2011.

The War Room concept focused on:

  • Respond swiftly to emergencies
  • Mobilize and route emergency resources
  • Get access to powerful real-time tracking resources
  • Rely on World-Class crisis management teams
  • Prepare for large-scale events ahead

The war room conceptual objective was to create a common communication framework by:

  • Providing a jointly developed and defined information base
  • Designing the room ergonomically and visualising the information
  • Designing and standardising the communication and decision-making processes
  • Setting behavioral rules to optimise communication and decision-making in alinement to the C4ISR principles.
